No Towers, Kandersteg, Switserland

A short and bolted mixed route graded M10+ E1. Goes normaly as an M10, (TwinTowers) with two giant icicles, giving a restposition after the crux. Note that the crux is the same move as the famous Vertical Limit, M11.

Géronimo, Freissinières, France

A true ice climbing adventure on one of Europe's longest icefalls. The 550 metre Wi5 E4 stands for a day's hard work. Our progress was heavily thwarted by the marginal conditions of the ice, and therefore the long and complex descend was fully made in the dark.

The Flying Circus (unprotected), Kandersteg, Switserland

A climb of four pitches I did with my Slovenian friend Dejan Miscovich. We climbed the route on sight, but I used some fixed gear in the first pitch to find a Friend-placement. A fall would not be too wise…… So that pitch we both repeated and red-pointed.

A selection of challenging iceclims accomplished before my HUGE accident:

Répentance Hyper, Cogne, Italy

A splendid icefall graded 180m Wi6 E3. Most parties rappel down directly after they have climbed the near-vertical ice strucure. (photo) We continued another three rope lengts to top out by an inmense thick free hanging icicle (Wi 7 or 8?)
